Ramona needs Softball Coach…

Ramona High is looking for a softball coach after Kristina Wright stepped down.

Wright led Ramona to a 29-5 record in her second season as head coach, losing 3-0 to Cathedral Catholic in 10 innings in the Open Division title game. The Bulldogs were 27-5 under Wright in 2016.

Wright, an All-San Diego Section player at Ramona in 2008, went on to play at Notre Dame.

She was forced to resign as coach after being promoted to superintendent’s assistant in the Ramona school district.

The job will be a walk-on position.

Interested candidates should apply at the school district website and send a resume to dbaldwin@ramonausd.net.
